Williamson County Emergency Services District No.5, a political subdivision and local taxing unit, is required by Texas Constitution to make taxpayers aware of tax rate proposals and to afford taxpayers the opportunity to limit or approve tax increases through the concept of Truth in Taxation.
As a local taxing unit, we must hold a public hearing on the proposed budget and tax rate and publicize the date, time and location. Citizens of the District are encouraged to use the Williamson Property Tax website and the State of Texas’s Property Tax Transparency website to find information about your estimated taxes, the dates and locations of public hearings, and other property tax information.
